Boring Logs

You hate doing them, but EnviroInsite makes it easy.

First go the Log design window and design your log.  Select and drag the fields and add lines, text and images to complete the log design.

The plotted data can be either:

  1. header/footer data - that is plotted once for each log (like the id or coordinates)

  2. downhole interval data - defined by its start and stop depths (like the soil codes or soil descriptions)

  3. downhole point data - measurements or text strings that are to be posted at a particular elevation (like a set of comment strings or PID measurements)

The data fields are user-defined.  You assign them a name and decide what they are going to hold.

Plot the logs!!  Once you have a report design you like then save that viz file to a central place and simply switch the data file to plot your new set of logs with your company log design.
