EnviroInsite is a desktop tool for analysis and  communication of environmental groundwater data.  The most widely utilized graphics tools - AutoCAD, Surfer and ArcView - are too costly, too hard to use, or lack the essential tools required for groundwater investigations.  EnviroInsite empowers hydrogeologists to analyze their own data and communicate complex ideas to clients and peers.

Easy to Use

One of the principal design objectives was to provide GIS power without requiring specialized GIS or database training.  The design objective is to make EnviroInsite no harder to use than a spreadsheet.

  • Multiple point cross sections are generated by point and click across a base map.

  • Data files may be generated through copy and paste into spreadsheets.

  • Complicated data queries are accomplished through simple point-and-click operations in a dialog box.

Portable

Every effort has been made to ensure that EnviroInsite is an integrated component of the engineering office.  Data can be read from either Access or Excel files.  Basemaps may be generated from most of the common image (BMP, TIF, JPG, PNG, TFW), CAD (DWG, DXF) or GIS (SHP,SHX) file formats.  Output is generated through the same bitmap and vector file formats or by copy-paste from EnviroInsite to report document.
